Friday, June 21’st marked the release of some great Texas Music from the likes of Aaron Watson, Koe Wetzel, and Josh Ward, just to name a few.

I have had the chance to listen to most of the aforementioned releases and they are all great in their own right.

A great little gem caught my ear over the weekend and I can’t stop listening to it!

Bruce Robison and Kelly Willis released “Beautiful Lie” on Friday and l was hooked from the beginning. With great songs like “Nobody’s Perfect”, “Heartache to Houston”, “Beautiful Lie” and the reminiscent “Astrodome”, I found myself listening to it again and again.

The whole album makes me want to grab a beer, sit back in my chair under an old Live Oak, with a warm breeze blowing and listen to every song and smile!
