I’m gonna be honest here…I had run across the Jeff Jacobs Band back in 2016 when I was introduced to their song “Break His Heart Tonight, I dug the song, spun it on my radio show back then for a while…..and I forgot about them. Shame on me!

I was reminded of them when I was checking my emails today and ran across an email from CD TEX introducing their latest single “Can’t Get Her Out of My Head”. I gave it a listen and the first thought I had was..”Oh yeah…I remember this band!”

The band has had its share of ups and downs but continues to make great music despite the flux that can destroy some. I know from personal experience how hard it is for a band to experience change and maintain creative greatness, but Jeff Jacobs and his band seem to have done just that.

In a time when several Texas Country bands are calling it quits or going on hiatus, it’s good to hear of one pulling up their boots straps and continuing on…and making great music too!
